# Course Introduction
> Overview course teaching admins to deploy, secure, govern, and operate Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents, covering fundamentals, identity, data protection, and daily administration.
Welcome to the Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals course.
I'm Rithin Skaria, and I'm here to help you build practical, job-ready skills to support, secure, and manage AI capabilities across Microsoft 365. As AI capabilities like Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents become part of everyday apps (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint), administrators must confidently deploy, govern, and operate these features.
Learning to roll out and manage Copilot is a high-value skill for organizations adopting AI, and it prepares you for the operational and compliance requirements that come with AI-enabled workplaces.
What you'll learn in this course:
* Microsoft 365 fundamentals: core services and the key objects you'll work with — users, groups, Teams, SharePoint sites, and document libraries.
* How to navigate admin centers and manage workloads: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Purview.
* Security and identity: safe sign-in methods, conditional access policies, single sign-on, and other controls that protect an AI-enabled environment.
* Data protection and governance: practical controls to keep company data secure while using Copilot and agents.
* Copilot and agents: what they are, how they integrate with Microsoft 365, and core admin tasks to configure and operate them in your tenant.
* Day-to-day administration: user support, access management, monitoring, and maintaining secure, compliant AI services.

This course emphasizes hands-on configuration and administrative workflows so you can apply concepts directly in your Microsoft 365 tenant. From the fundamentals we’ll move into Copilot and agents themselves — how they integrate across Microsoft 365, the configuration options available to admins, and the operational tasks required to keep them running securely.
Finally, the course covers everyday administrative tasks: supporting users, managing access, handling incidents, and ensuring Copilot and agents remain secure, compliant, and well-governed.
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to confidently support, secure, and manage AI-enabled environments in Microsoft 365 and approach certification exams related to Copilot and administration with practical knowledge.
