# Course Overview

> This course provides an understanding of Azures data storage options and prepares you for the DP-900 certification.

Welcome to **DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals**. I’m Peter Vogel, your instructor for this lesson. By the end of this course, you’ll have a solid understanding of Azure’s data storage portfolio and be ready to earn the [DP-900 certification](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/exams/dp-900).
