The CKAD exam is delivered online, enabling you to take it at your convenience from any location. An online proctor oversees your exam session to ensure a secure testing environment. For exam environment details—including room setup, system requirements, and network connectivity—please consult the candidate handbook available on the certification website.

Unlike many other certification tests, the CKAD exam is performance-based rather than multiple-choice. This hands-on approach assesses your practical skills by requiring you to complete real-world tasks within a two-hour time frame. Rather than simply memorizing facts, the exam emphasizes understanding Kubernetes operations and effective utilization of its features.

During the exam, you are permitted to reference the official Kubernetes documentation. In the following sections of this article, we guide you on how to efficiently navigate these resources to quickly locate the information you need.
