Hello everyone, Welcome to the Designing Azure Infrastructure Solutions course. My name is Rithin Skaria, and I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer. I will serve as your instructor throughout this lesson. In this course, you will learn to design robust solutions on Azure by exploring essential components such as compute, storage, networking, databases, governance, monitoring, and disaster recovery. This comprehensive approach will provide you with the skills needed to build scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
This course assumes that you already have a foundational understanding of core Azure services and have completed the Azure Administrator course. If you have not yet taken this introductory course, it is highly recommended that you do so before embarking on this lesson.
When I first started working with Azure, the available services were quite limited. However, Azure has since evolved into a platform with an extensive range of services. As you progress through the course, it’s important to stay focused and continuously practice, as this will help you keep pace with the ever-expanding feature set of the platform.
Azure is constantly evolving. You might observe new features or changes in the user interface compared to what is described in these materials. Some limitations mentioned here may have already been resolved, and certain features might have been updated or replaced. For the latest and most accurate details, always refer to the Azure documentation.
Throughout this lesson, expect a mix of quizzes, theoretical discussions, case studies, practical demos, and examples of architectural design. Some topics may require additional research, so don’t hesitate to explore further resources when necessary. If you encounter any challenges or have questions along the way, our community channel is available to provide support and clarify any doubts.
