Welcome, AWS CloudOps Engineers — and those preparing for the CloudOps Engineer Associate exam. This short lesson helps you evaluate whether you already meet the knowledge expectations for the CloudOps Engineer Associate certification. If you’re unsure about your readiness, take the optional mock exam linked below as a diagnostic tool to gauge your current level. If you pass the mock exam comfortably, you’re likely on the right track. If you score below 70%, we strongly recommend completing the AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) course first to build foundational AWS knowledge before continuing with CloudOps material.
A presentation slide titled "Do You Already Have the Knowledge of CloudOps Engineer Associates? Let's Find Out!" showing three numbered points: take the CloudOps Engineer Associate mock exam, the exam is optional to assess readiness, and if you score below 70% it's recommended to take the AWS Cloud Practitioner course.
How to use this mock exam
  • Take the mock exam under exam-like conditions to get an accurate assessment.
  • Treat the score as guidance: identify weak topics rather than viewing it as pass/fail.
  • Use the result to decide whether to continue with CloudOps-focused study or revisit foundational content.
Decision guide If you decide to take the AWS Cloud Practitioner course, it’s available here:
This mock exam is optional but very useful. If you already understand core AWS concepts at the Cloud Practitioner level, continue with CloudOps Engineer Associate study. If not, use the AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) to shore up fundamentals first.
